Book Report Due May 21st
I am giving them time in class to read their book.

We are done with Saxon Math workbooks but are now reviewing all the concepts the students had trouble with on their cumulative test.  Homework will be worksheets from now until the end of the year.

Story for the week:
Elena's Serenade
This story is told a girl that wants to be a glassblower, but her father says she is too young.

Comprehension Skill
Generalize
When you read, you may be given ideas about things or people.  Sometimes you can make a general statement about all of them together.

Grammar
Quotation marks
Show the exact words of a speaker.  Use a comma to separate the speaker's exact words from the rest of the sentence.

Multiplication
A little each night!!
They are doing a great job on mulitplication facts, please encourage them to Keep Studying.  We have started division in math, they are seeing how important it is to know their Multiplication Facts!!

We will continue to have daily mulitplication worksheets to complete.  Students need to work on Speed!!!   Every Thursday we will have a 5 minute timed Quiz on 60 problems.

REMEMBER IF YOU DO NOT PRACTICE THEM YOU WILL FORGET THEM!!
